The Executive Engineer, Transmission Division, Department of Power, Mokokchung has informed that vegetation clearance for 66kV Transmission Lines under Transmission Division Mokokchung are scheduled from May 9 to 26.
“In this regard, there will be total shutdown of power from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily in order to facilitate smooth execution of the works. This exercise is necessitated with the aim to provide stable power supply and avoid unwarranted disruption of supply,” Er. Ahoto Aye,Executive Engineer, Transmission Division said in a press release.
The department has appealed to all public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
