NRCP held in Mokokchung
Mokokchung, 30 March (MTNews): Training on National Program for Climate Change and Human Health (NPCCHH) cum training on National Rabies Control Program (NRCP) for SMOs, MOs and CHOs was held on 30 March at the Conference hall, Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung.
The trainees were introduced and trained on National Program for Climate Change and Human Health (NPCCHH), heat-related illnesses, identification of rabid dog and prevention of dog bite including prophylaxis/vaccination of pets, animal bite management and rabies prophylaxis and reporting procedures for both the programs.
The trainers were Dr Lhishelo Tsuhah DVBO & DSO, Dr Limanaro DPO-NCD, Dr Watitoshi, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Mokokchung, Dr Joshua L, Medical Officer CHC Tuli and Dr Toshimongla Longkumer, Epidemiologist (IDSP) Mokokchung.
