Kohima, September 12 (MTNews): The Transport Department, Government of Nagaland, has authorized two workshops for retro-fitment of approved retro-fitment kit and alteration of vehicles to make it suitable to be driven by persons with disabilities (PwDs).
A notification from the Transport Department stated that M/s. Bimal Automobiles, Address – H/no.125, Duncan Bosti, Dimapur, Nagaland, Contact: +91-9436069985 and M/s. Bhai Bhai Engineering Works (BBE Workshop), Address – Billy Graham Road, Kohima, Nagaland, Contact- +91-9856517295 are the two workshops approved by the department.
It was also notified that, to indicate the vehicle is meant for driving by a physically challenged person, Identification Symbol made up of retro-reflective materials issued by all Registering Authorities in the state shall be affixed in the front and at the rear of the vehicle.
