New Delhi, 28 July (MTNews): To enhance transparency and facilitate grievance redressal in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), the University Grants Commission (UGC), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has issued a directive to all HEIs to prominently display the link to the UGC e-Samadhan Portal on their respective websites. The directive was issued on 27 July 2023, with the aim of improving publicity and awareness among students and faculty members about this essential platform.
Prof Manish Joshi, Secretary of UGC, issued the notification. With this directive, the UGC envisions strengthening the accountability of Higher Education Institutions and fostering a culture of openness and responsiveness towards addressing student and faculty grievances.
