Union Minister of State for Minority Affairs, John Barla, called on the Chief Minister of Nagaland and held a detailed discussion on the ongoing projects of the schemes which are implemented under his Ministry. He further informed about the new guidelines of Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Karyakram brought out by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, wherein the tribal populations in all the districts in Nagaland will be covered under the Ministry. A DIPR report said that the Minister assured that all possible help will be extended to fulfil the developmental aspirations of the State which will include sectors like health, education, skill development, sports, women empowerment, rural development, sanitation, etc.
