In commemoration of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary, a Unity Walk (Padyatra) was held in Mokokchung on November 6, 2025, from Town Hall to Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung.
The event aimed to foster and reinforce the commitment to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity, and security of the nation.
It witnessed active participation from representatives of the District Administration Mokokchung, Senior Superintendent of Police Mokokchung, heads of various offices, 12th Assam Rifles, CRPF, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Ex-Servicemen Association, Chairman and Councillors of Mokokchung Municipal Council, Ao Senden, Watsu Mungdang, Bharat Scouts & Guides, NCC, National Service Scheme, Mokokchung Town GBs Association, and all ward unions of Mokokchung.
