The 10th Nagaland Shooting Championship 2025 in Small Bore Rifle and Pistol (NR) events will be held at the Aries Sports Complex Shooting Ranges, Bamunpukhuri-I, Dimapur, from July 22 to 26. The championship is being organised by the Aries Rifle and Pistol Shooting Academy, a Khelo India Centre in Dimapur, and will be conducted by the Nagaland Rifle Association (NRA) in accordance with NRAI Matchbook 2024 rules.
Participation is open to registered shooters from affiliated district rifle associations, clubs, or academies. All entries must be submitted exclusively through the NRAI’s online system at www.thenrai.org. The deadline for normal fee entries is 6:30 PM on July 18, while late entries with triple fee will be accepted until 6:30 PM on July 20.
The championship will be held across various age categories including Junior, Youth, Sub-Youth, Masters, Senior Masters, and Super Masters. Shooters under the age of 12 are not allowed to participate in any firearm events. Medals will be awarded based on the number of entries in each event.
Ammunition will be issued only on presentation of a valid license or special permit. Participants must return unused rounds and empty cartridges to the NRA. Discipline and adherence to regulations will be strictly enforced, with no shooting practice permitted in hotels.
