The 10th edition of the Tuli Marathon and Inter-Ward Open Volleyball Tournament was organized by the Tuli Sub-Division Administration, Mokokchung. The open marathon saw participation from all age groups, with the youngest participant being 9 years old.
The winners of the Tuli Marathon Race are as follows: In the male category, Chuchangmeren Ao secured the first prize, followed by Taliyanger and Sonu Rajbhar as the first and second runners-up, respectively.
In the female category, Songmo P claimed the first position, while Tsuchoi and Sangmir earned the second and third positions, respectively.
The winners were awarded certificates and cash prizes of ¹ 15,000, ¹ 7,000, and ¹ 5,000 for both male and female categories.
The inaugural session of the event was graced by A Panjung Jamir, Advisor for Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, as the special guest. In his address, he encouraged the players to approach the game with a positive mindset, good spirit, and discipline.
The two-day event will conclude on January 22, 2025.
