The Kohima District Volleyball Association (KDVA) will conduct the 11th Kohima Open Volleyball Tournament from October 28 to November 2 at the Hockey Ground, Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
The prize money has been increased for this edition. In the Men’s Category, the champion will receive Rs 1 lakh, while the runner-up will get Rs 50000. The losing semi-finalists will receive Rs 15,000 each.
In the Women’s Category, the champion will be awarded Rs 60000, with the runner-up receiving Rs 30000. The losing semifinalists will receive Rs 10000 each.
Individual awards will also be presented in both categories: Best Setter: Rs 5,000 each; Best Spiker: Rs 5,000 each.
The Association invites all interested teams, clubs, and enthusiastic players from within and outside the state to prepare for the tournament. Entry forms will be made available soon, according to KDVA.
