The group stage matches of the 14th Marsosang Football Trophy concluded on Wednesday at the Langpangkong Tzükong GHS playground in Chuchuyimlang, Mokokchung. Eight teams secured their spots in the quarterfinals following the final day of group matches.
In the first match, N Opang MFT dominated United Brothers with an 8-0 victory. Vision SC edged past Rocky Club with a 5-3 win in the second match. Morung Boys United FC delivered a commanding 9-0 win over Team Saturday in the third match. The final game saw Merasen defeat Young Vision 6-0.

The tournament began on Monday, December 8, and is scheduled to conclude on December 13. The exciting competition has showcased strong performances from participating teams as they vie for Mokokchung district’s second biggest football trophy.
All four quarterfinal matches will be played on December 11.
