Known as the most prestigious pageant in Northeast, the first edition of Miss Northeast 2022 is set to be held on November 3 at State Cultural Hall, Kohima.
The pageant is initiated by the North East Beauty Pageant Organization (NEBPO) and presented by Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN). On October 26, the 15 contestants comprising of state winners and 1st Runners up from all the eight Northeastern states landed the state Capital of Nagaland, Kohima.
Each state in the region will have two contestants, with the exception of Tripura, which will have one.
The contestants for the pageant are:
Radhe Mamung and Dyna Jomo from Arunachal
Nityashree Modak and Eshanee Hatimuria from Assam
H. Lalhriatpuii and Sylvia Lalvenpuii from Mizoram
Smita Sen from Tripura
Jessica Olivet Kharlukhi and Irene Dkhar from Meghalaya
Bhaswati Roy and Subekcha Pradhan from Sikkim
Kawimaningsiliu Khuvung and Lika Chophy from Nagaland and
Mannasha Devi Sapam and Pallavi Laurembam from Manipur.
