Addressing the gathering as Guest Speaker, former NLA Speaker Dr. Chotisuh Sazo underscored the critical role of family in language preservation. “Language is the real identity of humanity,” he stated, urging families to speak their mother tongue at home as a primary step to preserving cultural identity. Sazo also appealed to participants to ensure accurate documentation during the upcoming Census, expected in 2027, and to register themselves with authenticity.
