Mokokchung, November 21 (MTNews): The 15th Central Review Mission (CRM) arrived in Mokokchung District today to monitor and supervise the district’s health units.
Dr. Sila Deb, in-charge Nutrition (RCH) from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, led the CRM team which was joined by state officials from the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Kohima. The team held a meeting with the Chief Medical Officer, Medical Superintendent, District Program Officers, and staff from the Department of Health and Family Welfare Mokokchung at the Conference Hall of the Hotel Metsüben.
During the meeting, the visiting team interacted with the attendees about the activities of the various programs under the department.
Dr. Limatula Aier, CMO, provided an overview of the Mokokchung district profile and key performance indicators in a PowerPoint presentation. Dr. Marina, Medical Superintendent at IMDH, also provided a brief overview of the District Hospital profile.
The team will visit District Hospital and different health units under Mokokchung till November 24, 2022. During their visit, the CRM team will interact with medical officers, health workers, ASHAs, and stakeholders. The team will check reports, records, and activities carried out at health units in the district.
