Tuensang District Volleyball Association
A newly created Association, the TDVA will be participating for the first time in a local tournament outside Tuensang District. Chibayenba Chang and Bupen Yemjongchang are the two key players from the club. They are both district players well known in the district.
Yimyu
A team which was organized in the wake of Inter-Ward volleyball tournament, the Yimyu team will be participating for the first time in the tournament. Team has some incredibly young prodigies and promising players. A team to watch out for.
Tuli Volleyball Team
A newly formed team, the Tuli Volleyball team is initiated by senior volleyball players of Tuli town, with an aim to promote and preserve Volleyball as well as provide experiences in the world of Volleyball to the youth of Tuli town.
Arikotong Club
A first timer club in the Master Imchaba Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy, Arikotong club is from Mangmetong Village, Mokokchung. The club aims to teach the young people in the village the fundamentals and prospects of volleyball.
Shipu Sporting Club
The Shipu Sporting Club from Sungkomen ward has the same set of young dynamic players who participated and won the recently concluded Inter-Ward Volleyball tournament. It will be exciting to see if the inter-ward champions can compete with the players from other district as well.
Sümedem Club
An unknown team which sprung from Kupza Village, a corner in Mokokchung District, Nagaland, is a little team going to participate in this Trophy first time and expecting many young Volleyball players which might be the hope of Mokokchung as well as Nagaland assets.
Vision Quest, V.K Town
An old friend of Master Imchaba Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy, Vision quest have participated before in the trophy. With volleyball being played very enthusiastically in their hometown these recent years, the club is surely going to give a tough competition to the home teams.
Changtongya Volleyball Association
The Defending champions with a set of state-wide highly renowned and experienced players, we cannot miss out the play of this dynamic team and see if they can retain their glory this year too.
MH-10, Kohima
Also known as Minister Home – 10, Kohima, they were the runner-up in the last Imchaba Trophy. Composed of multiple experienced District players and one of the most entertaining team so far in the State, the team is up and ready to try and win the trophy this season.
Volleyball for Peace, Longsa “A”
Highly skilled and experienced District as well as National players are present in this team. Clubs from Longsa village are always the crowds’ favorites and they give a tough challenge in all of their games. The crowd is expecting some “pure and full entertainment” matches from this team.
