The 16th Saramati Soccer Championship 2025, themed “Victory through Teamwork,” was inaugurated on 9th January 2025 at the Public Ground, Pungro Village.
The program was organized by the Saramati Nexus Club in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources & Sports. The event featured S Kiusumew Yimchunger, Advisor for Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guard & Civil Defence, as the special guest.
In his address, S Kiusumew Yimchunger highlighted the importance of sports in promoting unity and discipline among the youth.
Teams from across the region are competing in the tournament, which serves as a platform for showcasing football talent and fostering community spirit. The event promises thrilling matches in the coming days.
