The 1st DCN (Dimapur, Chumukedima, Nuiland) Ao Open Badminton Tournament 2024, organized by DAYO (Dimapur Ao Youth Organization), was held at the Indoor Stadium, Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex in Dimapur on 16 and 17 December 2024.
The special guest on the opening day was Dr. Watizulu Suzumeren Jamir, Chairman of the Development Authority of Nagaland (DAN), Vice President of the Badminton Association of India, and Senior Vice President of the Nagaland Badminton Association. Dr. Tinujungshi, Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, was the guest of honor on the closing day.
