Niuland, January 16 (MTNews): Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of District Planning and Development Board, DPDB Niuland, Sara S Jamir, said today during the first DPDB meeting of the year in Niuland that 2023 will be the year of eradication of proxy teachers in the district and urged all officers and public leaders to cooperate with the authorities.
In response to the concerns and problems raised by the District Education Officer, Niuland, she instructed the DEO to develop a plan for the upgrade of the High School to a Higher Secondary School, as Niuland District only has one Higher Secondary school.
The meeting also discussed and accepted Heveto village’s inclusion in the Kuhuboto Sub-Division, the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme, and the Micro Finance Initiative.
DEO Niuland, Bohovi Yeptho highlighted several accomplishments and issues in the School Education Department, as well as the integration of the Kuhuboto division into the Niuland DEO, which is currently under SDEO Dimapur.
