The Nagaland Archery Association successfully conducted the State Selection Trials on 10 October, at the DGP Archery Ground, Police Complex, Chumoukedima.
A total of 39 archers from across the state competed for a chance to represent Nagaland at the national level. Based on their performance, 23 archers—12 men and 11 women—have been selected to participate in the 2025 Senior National Archery Championship, scheduled for the second week of December in Hyderabad.
The Association also announced that a special coaching camp will be held for the selected archers at the Archery Centre of Excellence in Sovima ahead of the national championship.
