Khuzama Youth organization advances to pre-quarterfinals
Kohima, 25 September (MTNews): At IG Stadium Kohima on Monday, Khuzama Youth Organisation defeated Sepfü FC 2-0, advancing to the pre-quarterfinals of the 23rd NSF Martyrs Memorial Trophy 2023. In the first half, both teams struggled to create scoring opportunities.

In the second half, Zevito Khizo broke the deadlock in the 61st minute for Khuzama, taking advantage of a defensive offside trap. Vilhuvoto Sale added another goal in the 75th minute, securing a 2-0 victory for Khuzama.
Zevito Khizo was named the man of the match, presented by Kelhouneizo Andrew Yhome. Khuzama Youth Organisation will now face End of an Era in the pre-quarterfinals.
Football for Change Academy Manipur Shines with 4-0 Victory
Meanwhile, Football for Change Academy Manipur impressed in their debut match, defeating Kigwema Students Union 4-0. The academy’s young footballers showcased their talent and potential.

Lungin Lhouvum scored the first goal in the 9th minute, Kishore Tiwari (7) added another in the 59th minute, and an own goal by a KSU defender in the 77th minute widened the lead.
Kamgouha scored a fantastic goal in the 80th minute to seal the victory for the Manipur team. The man of the match award was presented to Ngamminlem Khonsai of F4C academy by Voto Neikha, a former ASU President and current ASU Tribunal member.
