Mokokchung, 10 December (MTNews): With the goal of achieving 100% saturation in card generation for the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) – Beneficiary Identification System (BIS), the 24 Angetyongpang Assembly Constituency conducted a comprehensive training session on 9 December where six operators from the constituency were trained with the necessary skills and knowledge to efficiently register beneficiaries under the scheme.

The training was held at the residence of Tongpang Ozukum, the local MLA and Advisor, Water Resources Department, Government of Nagaland and was sponsored by the legislator himself.

The training session was led by Takotemjen, LDA cum BIS Operator from the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung. Takotemjen ensured that the trainees were well-versed in the intricacies of the Beneficiary Identification System, empowering them to effectively navigate the registration process.

Since the project’s launch last year, significant progress has been made with a remarkable 2,956 beneficiaries having already been successfully registered in the system.

Meanwhile, the NDPP 24 Angetyongpang AC expressed their gratitude to the Office of the Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung, for their support and guidance throughout the project’s implementation.
