Mokokchung, 5 April (MTNews): The Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Mokokchung convened a briefing session for all polling personnel, conducted at Mayangnokcha Govt. Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung in preparation for the second phase training ahead of the General Election to the 18th Lok Sabha in 2024.
Thsuvisie Phoji, the DC & DEO, welcomed all presiding officers and first polling officers to the training session and provided them with comprehensive guidance on the conduct of the Lok Sabha Elections. Emphasizing the significance of the election as a cornerstone of democracy, Phoji reminded attendees of their duty as government employees to actively participate in this monumental exercise and to commit themselves to ensuring a fair and peaceful electoral process.
