The open challenge debate format should be in a formal procedural decoram, in a way the two participants must bear the overheads, it has to be equally sponsored by both the parties for the logistics involve (including inviting a minimum of 1 national media TV channel) for a non partisan and non profit stance.

The two of us debate participants shall be jointly agreeing to a common draft for debate rules agreed collectively by both sides. The probable two hours debate shall be divided into four (4) segments, each 30 minutes long.

The moderator and panel judges shall ask both parties some lead questions and both sides will be given upto 3 minutes to respond. At the end of the segment an open discussion will take place. The questions will be all genuine and authentic all related to freedom of press and it’s accountability. The live audiences should remain silent but only applaud when either of the participants makes a valid point.

For the open challenge, it will be the best move to invite Mr. Lungleng from ‘The Lungleng Show’ as the official ‘Debate Moderator’ and as for the ‘judges’, it will do a great justice if the highly respected trio Justice H. k. Sema (Supreme Court rtd. Judge), Ex. bureaucrat Shri. K. K. Sema (IAS rtd.) and Dr. Rosemary Dzuvichu, Professor of English Literature will accept as penal judges for the sake of future Naga generations.

On his part Shri. Y. Patton Sir must accept the open challenge outrightly and he must “not back show, be chicken hearted, feeling sickly and run away to Delhi but face me in person within the stipulated timeline”. If he has balls, he must face me directly or else suffer loss of face; since the entire 22 lakhs Naga populance are eagerly watching him and he cannot afford to loss his integrity and credibility.

I am very humbled, thank you so much to all well wishers and I am highly grateful to the thousands upon thousands who have stood by me and sending me positive messages of hope and resilience.

I am also thankful to all my haters and negative mindset individuals who’s only job is to criticise and demean/insult the poor, downtrodden and weaker sections of society and to all my vicious haters, who always takes the chance to pin-point that I got very less votes perhaps little more than NOTA votes during the last 37 Tiyi Assembly Constituency contest and at every opportunity they ridicule and make fun of me, calling me a completely failed politicians, crazy guy/mad and total joker, clown etc – I FORGIVE YOU ALL IN THE NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

I for one wants to put the record straight once and for all, that during the last State General Elections held in February, 2023; I purposely stayed “silent and close guarded” during the final weeks and days, and I also categorically told my remaining 3-4 thousand supporters to “freely exercise their conscious votes” because one of my own clanesmen brother Apro. Shri. N. S. N. Lotha was contesting on a JD (u) party ticket. My beloved brother NSN. Lotha was contesting for the third time against Shri. Y. Patton and morever he was very much my senior in age and experience. I was bound to have a soft corner for him because the fact remains that I was considerably very close to him in person. As a brother from the same family tree lineage bounded by bloodlines (blood is thicker than water) I decided not to let the electoral votes get divided between the two of us brothers, and let him try and secure the maximum votes from our wopan side in the 3 (three) ranges i. e. Englan, Chukitong and Nyiro Ranges without any hindrance, so that my dear beloved brother NSN. Lotha could attain electoral victory. If I am guilty of clanism everyone in Nagaland is guilty of ism in one form or other form the truth remains.

Fast forwarding in the present context in 37 A/C, all the Ex. /former candidates are completely crushed and totally finished politically by Shri. Y. Patton , except me the lone remaining electoral challenger and fighter against the overwhelming might of Shri. Y. Patton.

The truth remains that election’s are far away i. e. February, 2028; so to contest or not to contest will be decided at the appropriate time only, but I must say that without the high direct influence of ‘VOTE BUYING’ running into 20-30 crores rupees anything may happen. Shri. Y. Patton is my ‘Political Enemy No. 1’, yet for next general elections I have not decided at all.

(HAYITHUNG BILL LOTHA)
Ex. Lok Sabha MP Candidate
