Mokokchung, 27 March (MTNews): The second day of the ongoing Salangtem Youth Union (SYU) Open Futsal Tournament saw some exciting futsal matches played at Mojabi Futsal Turf, Salangtem Ward, Mokokchung on Wednesday. After a grueling day with eight matches, four teams advance to the semifinals. Trebuchet will face Ignite in the first semifinal, while G-Sports FC will take on Chargers in the second semifinal. The semifinals, along with the final match, are scheduled for Thursday.
Earlier in the day, Trebuchet defeated Tongdentsuyong YA 8-1; The Red Devils defeated Plan-b 4-0; Ignite defeated Revenant-A 4-0; Chargers defeated MC Brothers 4-3; Trebuchet then defeated Revenant-B 5-0; G-Sport FC defeated The Red Devils 6-1; Ignite defeated Alempang YA 4-3; and Chargers beat Longpa Lumuden 8-2.
