Nagaland, September 2 (MTNews): Dziesekhonuo, Watijungla, and Imlimerenla, three Nagaland girls, have left their comfort zone to chase their goal of playing football in India’s capital for a state division league.
Footballers Dziesekhonuo, Watijungla, and Imlimerenla are currently representing “The Dream Team” in the Football Delhi Women’s League Championship.
According to a reliable source, the club has offered goalie Watijungla, 21, defender Dziesekhonuo, 18, and winger Imlimerenla, 18, a one-year deal.
As the girls gain the necessary exposure to compete against professional teams, hopefully, the Nagaland ladies football team will do better in the future.
