As part of the “100 Days Special Awareness Campaign” under SANKALP: HEW, the Mokokchung District Administration and the District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW)-Mission Shakti organized a one-day exposure visit to adolescent-friendly health clinics on September 11, under the aegis of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mokokchung.
Thirty students of Government High School, Dilong were chosen to visit IMDH and UPHC Yimyu as part of an exposure program. A tour guide of all the specialist units at IMDH was provided to the pupils.
Subsequently, the students went to the UPHC, Yimyu, for an awareness program on adolescence health management and menstrual hygiene. Measurements of each student’s height, weight, and blood group test were also taken.
