Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) will be celebrating 150 years of Christianity in Naga Hills (1872 – 2022) with the theme ‘To God be the Glory’ Galatians 1:5 on November 1-3 at Centennial Hall, Impur. At least 3000 delegates representing the 166 churches and 10 fellowships under ABAM and the 26 associations under Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) will be attending the sesquicentennial celebration. Besides, delegates from International Ministries (IM), Serving In Mission (SIM), the Bible Society of India (BSI), Indian Baptist Fellowship (IBF) and others will also be joining the celebration.
Meanwhile, Rev. Dr. Bendang Longkumer, Convenor of the Sesquicentennial Planning Committee has informed that the seating arrangements at the venue can accommodate more than 3000 people and has extended invitation to all to visit Impur and be blessed. Further, he also informed that the proceedings of the celebration will be live telecast on YouTube via Nagaland & North East Cornerstone TV and ABAM Impur channels. Local cable TV channels in and around Mokokchung Town will also broadcast it.
