Mokokchung, 30 September (MTNews): The 31st edition of the Loyem Memorial Trophy hosted by the Chang Wedoshi Setshang (Chang Students’ Conference) will begin in the second week of October 2023 at Loyem Memorial Astro-Turf ground, Tuensang.
According to a press release from the Chang Wedoshi Setshang, this year’s edition will be hosted in collaboration with Chang Sports Association.
The cash prizes for the tournament will include Rs 2,20,000 for the champions, Rs 1,20,000 for the runners-up, Rs 25,000 each for the semifinalists and Rs 5000 each for the quarterfinalists.
As for the individual prizes, the Best Player will win Rs 20,000 along with a trophy, while the Golden Boot and Golden Glove winners will win Rs 10,000 each.
Registration for the tournament will begin on October 2023 and the form will be available at the CWS Office, Olympic Store near ECS Tuensang, and Onrush Cave near the clock tower.
