Mokokchung, 8 January (MTNews): The Mokokchung District Cricket Association (MDCA) is set to organize the 32nd Mokokchung District Inter Club Cricket Tournament from 9 January 2024 at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung. With six clubs in the fray, the tournament will conclude on 13 January 2024.
The six clubs are divided into two pools with Sovran CC, Jovial CC and Skylark CC in Pool A while Trebuchet CC, Titans CC and United Brothers are in Pool B. The tournament will be played in the league-cum-knock out format with the top two teams from each pool qualifying for the semis.
The champions of the tournament will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 50000 along with trophy and certificates while the runners-up will be awarded Rs 25000 and certificates.
Individual prizes for Player of the Tournament, Highest Run, Highest Wicket, and Most Promising Player will also be awarded. Further, Man of the Match awards will also be presented from the semifinals onward.
