In an exhibition football match, 35+ Mokokchung Football League (MFL) team defeated the officials of the Mokokchung Inter Ward Football Tournament 2024 by 5-2 goals played on Friday at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung. Chubangangnen, Pangertemsu, Sentiyanger, Arenlong and Dr Lanu Walling scored a goal each for 35+ MFL while Rongsenwati and Imliyapang scored for the tournament officials. The exhibition match was played ahead of the final match of the Mokokchung Inter Ward Football Tournament 2024 to be played on Saturday between Arkong Ward and Artang Ward. The Final match is scheduled to kick-off at 1:00 pm. The tournament is being organized by the Marepkong Youth Association.
