Mokokchung, 1 July (MTNews): The culmination program of the MDBA Open Championship 2023 was held at the Indoor Badminton Stadium, Mokokchung on Saturday.
The Open Championship 2023 was played in 27 categories with 76 participants, including 50 boys and 26 girls.
The culmination program was graced by Subhash Arambam, Assistant Director, Printing and Stationery, Nagaland as the special Guest. “Sports are no more just recreational games or a means to keep one healthy. It can now be pursued as a career,” remarked the Special Guest while addressing the culmination program. In his speech, he encouraged parents to let their children follow their passion. He also cited examples of players who have pursued sports as their career and earn livelihood with what they are passionate about.
