The five-day-long 38th Phek District Sports Association (PDSA) Meet 2025 concluded today at Phek town.

The Chozuba Area Sports Association (CASA) secured the Group Champion title with a total of 28 medals (16 Gold, 6 Silver, and 6 Bronze).
The event, hosted by PDSA in collaboration with the Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS), brought together athletes from across the district for an intense display of sportsmanship.
The closing ceremony was graced by MLA and Leader of the NPF Legislature Party, Kuzholuzo Nienu, as the Guest of Honour. In his speech, he stated that athletes need to rededicate themselves and be committed to whatever they do.
He remarked that Nagas do not excel in sports due to a casual attitude; otherwise, Nagas are second to none in many aspects.
He urged the youth to pursue professionalism in any discipline they take up.
Muthasuyi, Commandant of the 5th NAP Battalion, Phek, presented prizes to the winners at the closing ceremony.
