Mokokchung, January 24 (MTNews): 901 Police Medals and 47 Fire Service Medals were announced on the eve of the Republic Day 2023 among which four are from Nagaland.
The awardees are:
· President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PPM) for Etssimongo Ngullie, IPS, DIG (Range) Mokokchung
· Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PM) for Israel G Xuivi, Dy. Commandant, 6th NAP Bn Tizit and Abel Jonsou Humtsoe, UB Inspector, Int Hq Kohima, Nagaland
· Fire Service Medal for Meritorious Service awarded to Zhasalie Napranotsu, Deputy SP (F&ES) Nagaland.
