Nagaland Police have announced the receipt of 36 reports of lost or stolen mobile phones and 8 stolen vehicles since the introduction of their new online submission system. This digital platform, designed to streamline the reporting process for stolen vehicles and lost or stolen mobile phones, has been operational since its launch.

The system aims to increase the efficiency of police investigations and improve response time for such incidents. The increase in reports indicates a growing public engagement with the new tool, highlighting its potential to aid law enforcement efforts.

The police further informed the public not to buy secondhand mobiles or vehicles to avoid legal troubles and risk losing the stolen goods if caught by police.
