The Summit boasts a lineup of 21 bands for music showcases, including OOberfuse, Nchanter, Rain in Sahara, and more. Delegates from 12 countries, including Japan, Canada, and South Korea, will participate in workshops, mentoring sessions, and panel discussions at RCEMPA Jotsoma on February 2 and 3.

Reflecting on the Summit’s aims, Meru emphasized its role as a “Knowledge Extravaganza,” featuring international festival directors sharing their expertise. Advisor Abu Metha’s guidance and Chief Minister Rio’s support were acknowledged as instrumental in organizing the event.

Governor La Ganesan commended TaFMA for facilitating this platform, highlighting its potential for fostering youth engagement and international partnerships. Chief Minister Rio expressed enthusiasm for showcasing local talent and building global connections through AMS.

Kaushik Dutta, President of MusicConnect Asia, recognized the event’s evolution from its inception in 2020 to its current stature, promoting Asian music globally. AMS serves as a nexus for cultural exchange, tourism, and professional opportunities in the music industry.

With past editions in Toronto and Ulsan, South Korea, AMS has emerged as a premier platform for celebrating Asia’s musical diversity. The Summit aims to deepen appreciation for Asian music while facilitating collaborations that transcend borders and cultures.
