4th Khensatsür Shisatokden Senden concludes; 5th edition set for 2029, Planning Committee appointed

The 4th edition of Khensatsür Shisatokden Senden (Khensa Women’s Seminar & Conference), held under the theme “Südem Akangshiro,” concluded successfully on September 28 at Khensa Baptist Church. Organized by the Women Ministry of Khensa Baptist Church, the three-day conference ran from September 26 to 28 and drew wide participation from across Khensa and surrounding units with a total of 388 delegates.

The participants included representatives from Kohima Unit (26), Dimapur Unit (27), Mokokchung Unit (28), Yimyu Ward Unit (48), Kongrokong Unit (33), Tenem Colony (44), Imdong Colony (27), Tzüto Colony (56), Jungli Colony (20), Amenyong Colony (25), Women Ministry (5), Youth Ministry (12), Volunteers (12), and Khensa Sensotsür Mungdang (25).

At the valedictory, organizers announced that the 5th edition of Khensatsür Shisatokden Senden will be held in 2029 and a new planning committee was constituted for the upcoming edition. The committee members (Asameyang luden — Planning Committee) are: Imchasenla as Convenor, Yongdangmongla as Secretary, along with members Temsujungla, Limanaro, Temsusangla, Alemla Thonger, Rongsentula, Sentiangla, Asenla Mathi, Sentitola, Fonasangla, Kikayangla, Naropongla, and the Women Ministry of Khensa Baptist Arogo as Ex-officio.

The organising committee expressed that the successful completion of the 4th edition was made possible through the collective participation and support of all units, delegates, and volunteers.

They further acknowledged the dedication of the Women Ministry of Khensa Baptist Church in hosting the event and extended gratitude to every unit for their active involvement. The committee also conveyed optimism that the newly appointed planning committee for the 5th edition will carry forward the vision of strengthening fellowship and unity among  Khensa women, and ensure that the 2029 conference will be even more impactful.
