4th Moatsü Table Tennis Tournament 2025 held in Mokokchung

The 4th Moatsü Table Tennis Tournament 2025, organized by the Revolution Table Tennis Club, Mokokchung, was held on 10 May at the Multipurpose Hall, Imkongmeren Sports Complex.

In the women’s singles category, Sungjeminla emerged as the champion, with Imnatula finishing as the runner-up. In the men’s singles, Imsutongzuk Pongen claimed the top title, while Lipoktoshi was the runner-up. The duo of Imsutongzuk Pongen and Lipoktoshi also secured the men’s doubles title, with Pursen and Wapangtoshi finishing as runners-up.

Imdong and Mosem Kichu were the champion and runner-up, respectively, in the veterans category.

A new “Beginners” category, open to all age groups, was introduced to encourage first-time participants. Moakumzuk and Bendang secured the top two honors in this category.

Dr Takosunep, Deputy Chief Medical Officer of Mokokchung, was the special invitee at the tournament.

A notable feature of the event was its eco-friendly, plastic-free initiative, using a projector in place of flex banners.
