The 4th Mokokchung Town Inter Ward Volleyball Tournament 2025 will be held at the Multipurpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung, organized by the Kumlong Sporting Association under the aegis of the Mokokchung District Volleyball Association.
The two-day tournament, held under the theme ”Forging Champions”, will begin on October 8 at 1:00 pm with Imkongchuba, Chairman of the Mokokchung Municipal Council, as the guest of honour.
A total of five wards are participating in the tournament, with the inaugural match scheduled between Kichutip Ward and Penli Ward. The defending champions, Sungkomen Ward, who also won the inaugural edition in 2022, are not participating in this edition.
According to the match fixtures released by the organizers, the five participating teams will compete in a round-robin league on the first day. On Day 2, the top two ranked teams will play the Qualifier 1 match, and the winner will advance directly to the final. The third and fourth ranked teams will play the Eliminator, and the winner of that match will face the loser of Qualifier 1 in Qualifier 2 to book its berth in the final.
