The 5 Tribes Committee on Review of Reservation Policy (CoRRP) held a consultative meeting with the five apex tribe bodies and their frontal units on Monday at Sendenyu Biodiversity Education Centre, Nphunji, under Tseminyu District.

During the meeting, the committee welcomed and appreciated the State Cabinet’s decision to change the nomenclature from Job Reservation Commission to Commission for Review of Reservation and to extend the Terms of Reference beyond job employment. The committee stated that the move was in line with its representation submitted to the State Government on September 24, 2025.

The 5 Tribes CoRRP, along with the five apex tribe bodies, also expressed their willingness to extend full cooperation to the newly renamed Commission whenever called upon.

With the State Cabinet honoring their demands, the committee announced that the non-participation of the five apex tribe bodies in all State Government functions and activities, which had been in place since August 15, 2025, now stands withdrawn.
