Government Higher Secondary School Diphupar ‘A’ participated in a Sustainable Lifestyle Workshop on Bamboo Crafts at the Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre, Chümoukedima. The workshop was organized by the Environment Education Programme under the State Nodal Agency, Nagaland Pollution Control Board (NPCB). The event began with a brief introduction by the Programme Officer of the Nagaland Pollution Control Board, who emphasized the importance of eco-friendly products and the need to reduce plastic usage.
During the workshop, students were introduced to three bamboo crafts: bamboo spoons, bamboo brooms, and bamboo pen stands. Upon completion, each student received a certificate of participation. The workshop was attended by 59 students from Class 10.
