A six-day “Drone Assembly and Programming Training Workshop” is underway from March 16 to 21 at the School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University (SET-NU), Kohima Campus, Meriema.
The workshop is being organised by the Training and Placement Cell, SET-NU, in collaboration with Rotorize Aviation Pvt. Ltd. Three batches of students are being trained in drone technology, assembly, and programming.
A flight simulator is being used to demonstrate drone operations, while participants are also gaining hands-on experience in operating real drones, assembling them using various components, and programming them for specific tasks.
Shanchamo Yanthan, In-charge of the Placement Cell, School of Engineering and Technology, Nagaland University, highlighted the importance of such workshops in enabling students to acquire practical skills from industry professionals.
He also expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Kohima Campus, and the Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, for their support in organising the programme for the benefit of students.
