This was informed during the monthly meeting of the Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) held on Friday at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall.

In this regard, the Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, IAS has asked the department to give maximum effort in supervising the work so that it would come out as desired.

Ao Senden President, Chubawati Longchar, who also attended the meeting, maintained that many hardships have been taken in making this repair and maintenance of District Hospital (IMDH) Road, Mokokchung a reality. He, therefore, reminded the concerned department that people need quality work and would not compromise if the matter is not taken seriously.

Singh also gave a briefing on the schedule of the ULB Election as issued by the State Election Commission. He also reviewed the implementation of the Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), and reminded that as of now, the registration done for CMHIS in the district was only 39 percent and therefore requested all district HODs and employees in the district to do a review and try to cover 100 percent at the earliest.

The meeting also reviewed the shifting of the Inter-State Bus Terminus (ISBT) to Yimyu, on which Singh asked the Department Official to do the restoration work (Electricity and water connection) at ISBT to be done at the earliest.
