Mokokchung, August 2 (MTNews): The calligraphy program organized by ABAM Literature & Education and Children Ministry was successfully held on August 2, 2022, at Mokokchung Town Hall.

 

 

Delivering the keynote address, ABAM Sunday School coordinator, Chubatemjen, said that this program was not about competing for positions but a celebration of God’s given talents to humans, alluding to 1 Corinthians 10:31.

 

Abenla Aier, Coordinator, Children Ministry, ABAM, while briefing the objective of the program said that this calligraphy program was designed to help the children develop creativity, improvise talents and create a platform for participation so that as they grow old, they will find themselves useful for many purposes.
Altogether 74 children of nine years and above from 32 churches participated in the program.

 

Meanwhile, ABAM Executive Secretary, Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener expressed special thanks to Ungma Baptist Church Children’s Ministry for leading the praise and worship, Impur Baptist Church Children’s Ministry for the beautiful choreography, and Mokokchung Town Baptist Church Children’s Ministry for all logistics arrangements. “We look forward to seeing many aspiring children who will make the best use of their talents and bring changes even in their life careers,” he added.
