Dimapur, August 12 (MTNews): The Janata Dal United 5 Ghaspani II Assembly Constituency meeting was held on Friday at the residence of Kitoho S. Rotokha, its State General Secretary, chaired by Khezheto Rochill (Lotovi VC) as sessional chairman and Kiyeto Chishi (Nihoto Village) as sessional Secretary respectively.
The meeting was addressed by Holuvi Awomi, State Secretary; Imsumongba Pongen, State General Secretary; and Kitoho S. Rotokha. While addressing the gathering, the leaders emphasizes on the strong secular credentials of Nitish Kumar, the CM of Bihar who has keen interest on resolving the Naga Political issue at the earliest and therefore urged upon the members to work vigorously towards achieving a common goal.
Representatives from Kuhuboto area, Ato Area and Sakipheto area led by Ijeho Zhimomi, Hd.GB Pherima spoke in support of the formation of the party in the 5 Ghaspani II Assembly Constituency.
The meeting appreciated and acknowledged the strong secular and socialist leadership of Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar; Rajiv Ranjan aka Lalan Singh, the National President and leader of Lok Sabha; Afaque Ahmed Khanji, National General Secretary and In-Charge of NorthEast, NSN Lotha; State President and Convenor, NEEC and National Secretary; and Kitoho S. Rotokha, State General Secretary, and assured fullest cooperation towards their able and dynamic leadership.
Meanwhile, the meeting also appointed the party’s 5 Ghaspani II assembly constituency Office Bearers for the tenure 2022-‘25.
