Kohima, September 12 (MTNews): Believers and church members of the Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) on Monday celebrated in acknowledgement and recognition by showing their gratitude to the Founder and Senior Pastor of KBC, Rev Zotuo Kiewhuo who completed 25 years of ministry.
A program in this regard was held at Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC), Tsiesema in Kohima which was a ministry initiation of KBC.
Rev. Kiewhuo on completion of Masters in Theology from South Korea founded the KBC on December 21, 1997 with the theme “Preach the Gospel to Every Nation” with the vision the Lord bestowed upon him, an update from the Koinonia Media Ministry stated.
Sonuo Usou, who was the first attendee of Koinonia Baptist Church, gave a thanksgiving speech, shared happiness and commended Rev. Kiewhuo for the completion of 25 years of ministry and highlighted the various changes and development that took place over the years.
She also hailed Medotsilieu, wife of Rev. Kiewhuo who also Pastored the KBC, for the love, compassion and leadership in shepherding the church while being instrumental in building up the numerous activities relating to the women.
The program was led by Rokopra Mekro, Asst. Pastor while Deborah Group, The Oasis and Rubies presented special songs. Kezevituo Chakruno, Deacon and Lhouzakie Rutsa, Deacon read out the scriptures.
