In order to inspire the district’s sportspersons, Mokokchung DPDB honored all medal winners from the district at the recently concluded Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2022 during its meeting on Monday at ADC (Planning) conference hall.
It may be recalled that in the recently completed Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games, Mokokchung won a total of 12 medals, including three silver and six bronze medals in the individual competition. In the team category, one silver and two bronze medals were won. Sadly, Mokokchung was unable to secure a single gold for the district.
