Mokokchung, October 21 (MTNews): Purchila Tzudir, who won Bronze medal at the 9th North East Zone Shooting Championship (10M Air Rifle Junior Women Individual), was felicitated by the District Sports Officer, Mokokchung, Mangla Imchen at Khelo India Centre (Shooting), Ladybird School, Mokokchung in the presence of Imlilila, proprietor of Ladybird School on Friday, October 21.
Purchila Tzudir, from Mokokchung district, represented Nagaland at the 9th North East Zone Shooting Championship conducted by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) and organized by the Assam Rifle Shooting Association (ARSA) from September 10 – 13 at 4th Battalion Assam Police Kahilipara, Guwahati, Assam. Nagaland won 10 medals, including one gold, seven silver, two bronze and was ranked 6th at the medal tally.
