Mokokchung, October 22 (MTNews): Principal of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama, Dr. Fr. George Keduolhou Angami on October 21, 2022 convened a joint meeting of college management and ex-officials of alumni at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama Conference Hall, where various agendas such as Alumni Meet-cum-Alumni Silver Jubilee celebration, AQAR, and so on were discussed.

 

Advocate Kezhokhoto Savi, the first President and a pioneer, who is also from the first batch, 1985, the year the college was established, attended the meeting, as did many former alumni presidents. According to reports, the Alumni Association was founded in 1997.

 

During the meeting, it was agreed that the 25th anniversary of the Alumni Association will be commemorated on November 18, 2022, beginning at 10.30 a.m., with a formal function at the college Indoor Stadium. The house also agreed that the college administration would handle all logistical arrangements for the Alumni Meet-cum-Silver Jubilee celebration.

 

The house also decided that the Jubilee Souvenir would be released next year, most likely at one of the college’s major events.

 

Yanger Imchen, President of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama, has called another meeting for November 24, 2022 at 4 p.m. in the conference hall of the Cresent International Hotel in the main town near Old NST bus station, Kohima where he had asked all the ex-officials of alumni to attend the said meeting without fail.
