Mokokchung, November 5 (MTNews): After a lot of pedal to the metal and revving engines, the dust has finally settled at Rempukong, Ungma, Mokokchung as the 6th edition of Mokokchung AutoX 2022 came to a close.
The autocross was hosted by the Adventure and Motorsport Association Mokokchung (AMAM), which also featured a female driver competing with her counterpart in the rookie category, making the crowd cheer for her driving skills and ability to finish her laps on par with other male competitors.
In four divisions, around 60 participants from the Spearhead Motorsport Initiative, Nagaland Adventure Club, Kohima Motorsports Club, Street Kings, MSAM (Meghalaya), AMAM, and P Vishito Motorsports Club competed.
Ladies Class, Rookie Class, SUV Class, and Open were the different categories.
The INAC East Zone 2022 was successfully held on November 04, and practically all of the competitors actively participated in the AMAM event, which thrilled the spectators as the drivers pushed the throttle to the limit.
AMAM officials noted that it was through the efforts of AMAM’s National Driver Lanusanen that the AMAM was able to host INAC here in Mokokchung.
