Kohima, November 8 (MTNews): The Kohima Press Club (KPC) has conveyed congratulations to the Editor and staff of Capi Daily on attaining a milestone of 25 years of steadfast service in journalism.
KPC president Alice Yhosü and general secretary AtonoTsükrüKense said in a press release on Tuesday that this Tenyidie vernacular daily has been reflecting views and catering to the local sentiments on issues confronting the community and the state for the past two and a half decades.
“Capi Daily has sustained itself through the years, overcoming all kinds of constraints, be it financial, rogue elements, advertisement and print,” KPC said. “It is an accomplished feat to have reached thus far and a significant moment for the entire team of the newspaper,” it added.
“On this auspicious occasion, the Kohima press Club lauds your dedicated service to the people, particularly the Tenyidie speaking community, and wishes you all a grand and happy 25th anniversary,” KPC said, while hoped that the vernacular daily would continue to promote ethical and responsible journalism as it journey into the future with more maturity and renewed vigour.
