Kohima, November 26 (MTNews): In view of the forthcoming general election, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee has announced various names along with their designation and work distribution in order to “effectively and efficiently carry out objectives of NPCC” until further order.
In a press note signed by N. Yona Konyak, General Secretary (Administration) NPCC, it was informed that the secretary will also be announced soon and requested all Political District in-charge to team with PCC members in the Districts.
President of NPCC K Therie has been assigned to work on ‘Manifesto, Political Affairs, MPCC and all that are not assigned’
Working President, Khriedi Theunuo has been assigned to work on Wokha and Legal.
Bobby Panicker, designated as working president will work on the treasurer and AICC, NECCC.
V Lasu , the Vice President will work on Dimapur, Kissan Cell and W Akum Yim designated as Vice President will work on Mon and Longleng.
Vice President Supongmeren Jamir has been assigned to work in Zunheboto, Ex Parliamentary Welfares and Public Grievances Dept.
Vice President Alemjongshi Lkr will work on the Pensioners, Border Affairs Tuensang
Vice President Shaboh Konyak will work at Tuensang, Kiphire and Noklak
Vice President Capt. GK Zhimomi will provide Ex-Serviceman training.
General Secretary N. Yona Konyak will work on Administration, Organization, Election and meetings
General Secretary Athang Chongloi will work on Phek and Peren
L Chuba Yim as the i/c will work on Mokokchung
Tsengthungon Nyamo as i/c will work on ULB, Team with V Lasu vice president for Dimapur political district, Coordination with civil societies
Rajesh Sethi as i/c will work on Enrolment, Minority Department
Kikhevi Yepthomi as i/c will work on NPYC, Seva Dal, Young Brigade
Imkongyanger as i/c will work in Kohima.
Meanwhile, the NPCC said that enrollment in the Congress Party is open. “We call upon all sections of society to join the Congress Party under the able leadership of K. Therie for a change which can not only be felt but can also be seen,” it said.
